Well, as usual I'm behind the curve. I recently upgraded to Win7 from Vista, and like everyone else I find that MS WSR works much better in Win7. However, I'm having problems with WSRMacros - I haven't been able to run macros taken over from Vista. Even though the system requirements for WSRMacros don't mention Win7, I've re-downloaded it and tried running it in Vista compatibility mode with no luck; instead of running the macro it just repeats what's written in the first listenFor.
I've also tried writing a few macros anew, with indifferent success. What do I need to do to run WSRMacros in Win7? Even though WSR is recognizing fine, should I take the trouble to retrain it? Thanks for any advice. - ed |

Ed,
Check the Security level and Create Signing Certificate. Right click WSRMacros icon (blue oval) in Taskbar. You may have to click the little white up arrow to see the hidden icons. After right clicking icon, click Security and set to Low. Then Create Signing Certificate. Marty Markoe MyMSSpeech.com |

Thanks, Marty. You're right, the security info wasn't carried over when I upgraded. Apologies for not acknowledging your reply sooner. I'd forgotten that for some reason I don't get email notice of replies to these forums. - ed
