When I  am writing in a window(like this message   window using MS speech recognition)  I get some very odd things happening.  In particular  it is difficult to select a mistaken phrase or word, or get acknowledgment that the phrase is actually a command instead of dictation.

Are you using WSR, Windows Speech Recognition built into Vista and Windows 7 operating systems? MS speech recognition is what was used in the old Windows XP and Office 2003 and I do not believe those will function well in a text box like this.

Is there any text window you were able to use that works properly?
