I was just wondering whether anyone owned one of these wireless headsets, and whether it is of good enough quality to use with Windows Speech Recognition? Smile

Historically Logitech Microphones have not performed well for speech recognition as they are not designed for the frequency range of a normal talking voice and historically have been poor at background noise canceling. Here is the description of the Logitech Clearchat:
"wireless stereo headset for your PC calling, music, and games."
I do not see SR in the description.

If you purchase them and test them in different noise environments to see how well they perform, we will purchase one to test if your claim they work well and consistent from quiet to moderate noise levels.

I'm also looking at the Plantronics Audio 995, which has several reviews on Amazon claiming that it works pretty well with speech recognition. I just wish I could find what I need; something low cost, works great with speech recognition, has a decent range away from the computer, a super long battery life, and is comfortable to wear all day. If I do decide to buy the Clearchat, I will definitely let you know how it holds up in use with Windows Speech Recognition. :-)
