Hi there people,
Having spent a lot of years trying to wean myself off M$ products - only still using W7 because I NEED S2T (Speech to text) as a writer, and was thus confined to Dragon under M$...... at least I could use OpenOffice for the most part.

Now after getting all excited about WSRToolkit, and getting away from the Dragon, it appears to be confined to using M$Word for my most critical work - transcribing from a recorder.
AND I haven't had a copy of Office on my system for years.

What if I changed the appellation of various file formats to XXX.doc?
(OpenOffice of course has no problems with M$ files....).

Would it help?

AND of course, my new Digital Philips Recorder - lfh617 cheap and good results - but only outputs MP3.....  :-(
 But that is another story.
I'm excited to be trying out the M$ program as apparently a lot of people have re-discovered this hidden gem and like it!  The WSRToolkit WAS the missing factor.

Himagain -
new here, but obviously will be a regular now I've found this friendly forum!  :-)

Cheers!
