  • iTunes (10) is inaccessible when it is minimized with speech recognition
  • any taskbar item such as IE9 favorites should be capable of being accessed with a single voice command and other links on the taskbar.

To maximize iTunes, try saying, "switch application." If this does not work then iTunes is not conforming to Microsoft accessibility standards. Are

you familiar with them and have you tried using, "show numbers" feature? If you need issue single commands you will have to write macros than single commands are not built in. WSRToolkit makes this easy to do.

sweet that was a really helpful reply thank you I was able to use the swich applications dictation but iTunes is not on the list even though iTunes is open

I was not successful with the show number dictation while viewing the desktop, show numbers will highlight the icons on my desktop but not icons on my taskbar?

As I understand the WSRToolkit is software I can download I have not done a search for it yet.

Then iTunes does not conform to the standard Microsoft Actively Acessibility (MSAA) most other progams adhere to.

Icons on the Taskbar are accessed by Switch Application voice command or using the keyboard for Alt + Tab. If you like the way the keyboard command handles the Switch Application function, you can use the $19.99 WSRToolkit to easily create a voice command for Alt +Tab and name it anything you like. I would name it, Next Application.

There is nothing for you to search for. It was in the link in my previous message and the left column of this Forum. It does many other things besides letting you easily create command macros. You download the WSRToolkit when you order it for $19.99.
