We have WSR set up on a desktop with a lot of power:  (HP dc7900, intel core quad CPU Q9650 @ 3.00 GHz/3.00 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 32 bit, Wind Vista Business).

Love the application.  Even used to use Dragon Naturally Speaking up to 9.5 and took it off.

However - at random periods of time (sometimes 4 or 5 times a day), while "on" or "sleeping" it turns "off".  It doesn't matter if a program is running or not.  It doesn't do it on any type of consitent amount of elapsed time.  It just turns "off".

To re-start it we can even start it from the WSR icon, we have to close it, and start it from start up program.

I have been all over the web and can find no logical answers.  From everything I read - it's not supposed to turn "off" unless you turn it off manually, or you have a laptop running on battery power.  But this is a desktop, and I've checked the power settings several time and nothing looks out of the ordinary.

Does anyone have any ideal why/how to stop WSR from turning off automatically?

Thx
