When you say you know your sound is working the course you can hear sound from your monitor speakers, that has nothing to do with a speech recognition. You do not say what kind of microphone you are using? If you're using a poor quality microphone or even worse a microphone built into a computer, you're not going to be successful using WSR (Windows Speech Recognition). If you cannot pass the Microphone Setup Wizard then you will not be able to use WSR.
I highly suggest the first thing you do is read the short article linked on our MSSpeech Forum Home Page titled," Getting Started With Windows Speech Recognition." Marty Markoe, eMicrophones, Inc. |
