I've started using WSR with office 2007 in Vista Ultimate (32bit) and I've got a weird problem.
Whenever I try to correct a word that's been recognized wrong it takes my command literally. So if WSR types "site" when it should be "side" and I say "correct site" instead of bringing up the correction dialog it just types "correct site". This is happening almost every time I try to correct a word. Usually if I then say "delete that" to get rid of what it just did and repeat "correct site" it will work as it should. However, after selecting my number and saying "ok" the words get corrected, but the dialog stays up until a say something else. Has anyone else encountered this? Any suggesions would be greatly appreciated. Is there a way to actually un-install and re-install WSR in Vista? Cheers, Sean |

We have seen this problem as well. We found a way to correct this has to do with timing/pause length. In other words, try to pause a slight amount before ensuring the, "Correct," command. If this is not immediately work, try varying the length of the pause anywhere from 1/4 second to one second.
