How to Stop WSR from Dictating Every Sound it Hear

There are likely two reasons for the problem you are having, words being placed on screen unintentionally.
1. The microphone you are using has no noise canceling capability and is picking up stray sounds as words. WSR requires not only the highest quality audio input for good accuracy, the microphone must be truly noise canceling to eliminate background noises from distorting the audio signal or causing stray words. 2. The other problem is that WSR has poor control of the audio sound subsystem built into Windows. We noticed this problem over two years ago when the audio level was constantly resetting itself. If the audio pickup level is too sensitive, even with a good noise canceling microphone, stray words will appear unintentionally.
