Can the Toolkit transcribe mp3 files or just WAV? |

I noticed in a previous thread that you said:
"The Zoom H2 files were native MP3 files." But the manual only shows WAV files as being importable for transcription. I'm thinking of using the Olympus DM-420, and it does not record WAV files. I don't want to do conversions for every file. I'm not interested in the $500 recorders some folks like to recommend, but it is a struggle to find a decent recorder that has removable memory and records to WAV. : ) Thanks for this tool. Can't wait to find the right hardware and get started! |

Zoom H2 can be found for under $200.00. Its only weaknesses:
1. Takes a while to familiarize yourself with controls and setup
2. You can stop a recording but not pause. In other words, each time you stop, the next recording is a separate recording.
