Just a suggestion, name your macros something unique in order to differentiate from common words in the WSR vocabulary. This will avoid the common word from being recognized instead of execution of the macro. In this vein, it also helps to give a slight pause when issuing any command to avoid the command word(s) being recognized as text.

The suggestion was given to try installing WSRToolkit on another computer assuming the other computer has standard components. This will at least tell you if the WSRToolkit software is or is not the problem.

Marty
PS. Nathaniel is the programmer for WSRToolkit Versions 2 and 3.

I've been using CCleaner Registry and IE cleaner for 8 years with great results and no problems. The link is to CNET's site which is highly reliable. Make sure to reboot after cleaning registry.

Please provide detail on which version of Windows you are using? Did you do a google search and see any other issues that may apply like the .NET Framework? Uninstall older an version of .NET and install or reinstall newest version.

If you have another computer available you should try installing on this. A successful installation will indicate there is something on your main computer interfering.

Our programmer is receiving a link to this thread and will either respond to me or respond here.

Marty

Edited by mmarkoe_admin - 22/Feb/2015 at 8:28am

I get the same error message I posted earlier.

My coding is really rusty but I believe the error CLR20r3 in this case, refers to the throw (IL_001c) of System.InvalidOperationException from the method 060063E0, which is part of the .class "(…) System.Security.Cryptography(…) in mscorlib, when called upon by WSRToolkit.exe v 3.0.0.0.

But I could be wrong, I usually am.

Hope this will help you solve the problem,

Yours truly,

Sebb

BTW: I really enjoyed the WSRMacro guide, well worth a reading for anyone. A Google search for CLR20r3 shows it is a common error message related to Windows with several solutions offered.

My suggestions:
1. Check Control Panel - Programs and Features to see if Windows Speech Toolkit shows. If it is there, uninstall.
2. If you have not already done so, install all Microsoft system updates and reboot computer.
3. In case there was a problem with the download, re-download WSRToolkit at:
Re-download the WSRToolkit from:
http://www.mymsspeech.com/download/wsrtoolkit3.zip
4. Temporarily disable Anti-Virus and try installing WSRToolkit.

If the above does not work and no one else offers suggestions, I'll contact our programmer.

Marty

Edited by mmarkoe_admin - 20/Feb/2015 at 5:42pm

Here it is:

HI Marty: I ran my disk cleaner & rebooted & whatever & closed up everything except for what I was going to use together with toolkit & it worked. I pray & do what God seems to be leading me to do, which seems to be right & watch & look for the simple things (like the mute button on my microphone, or one time it was I did not have the mic plugged into the Computer USB PORT neither did I have my headset plugged in). I can't remember what it was that time but I think it helped when I did the disk cleaner & rebooted, etc.

After reading the above I responded with:
Ms. Perry,
We are highly pleased to hear you now have everything working. I am going to post your reply from December 24 into the forum to show that this has been resolved.

Just to be clear, is everything working properly? By this I mean, WSRToolkit, WSRMacros, and did you place the restore tool (profiles.exe) in the correct folder? If you look on the forum where you posted your question, you will see further directions for configuring WSRMacros and the exact folder to place the profiles.exe.

I would suggest you start off making a simple macro using the macro wizard. For example, make a macro called sign off. For the text that would appear whenever you said sign off, for example, here is mine:
Marty Markoe
MyMSSpeech.com <http://www.MyMSSpeech.com>
Microsoft MVP 2010-2011

When you say WSRToolkit has crashed, please be more specific. Does it startup and you can use it awhile and then it crashes or are you not able to start it at all? Were you ever able to input the license key?

The WSRToolkit version 3 has been in use over 2 1/2 years and we've never heard of this problem. We suggest you uninstall the WSRToolkit completely. To do this:
1. Go to Control Pane.
2. Go to Programs and Features
3. Scroll down to Windows Speech Toolkit
4. Highlight Windows Speech Toolkit
5. Click Uninstall

After Uninstalling, we recommend you reboot your computer. Reinstall WSRToolkit version 3. Make sure to follow directions to download and install WSRMacros and the Profile (Backup/Restore) tool. The Profile tool file you download you must move it to:
C:/PROGRAM FILES/SPEECH TOOLKIT
You can use Windows Explorer or Computer (My Computer) to find this folder.

After installing WSRMacros, Right Click the blue oval WSRMacros icon in the lower right Taskbar. Click Security, Then Click Create Signing Certificate.

Let us know how this goes.
