My advise is to try it with an inexpensive headset, even one you could borrow from someone, before investing in good one. What a good headset gives you is good background noise canceling, so try to make sure the test headset is used in a quiet environment. Also, read, "Getting Started with Windows Speech Recognition." this will help you understand what it takes to get high accuracy.

Good luck and let us know how it works out. If you have a hard time finding a headset to use for testing, contact us privately from the Contact Us button on http://www.emicrophones.com.

Marty Markoe, eMicrophones, Inc.
