I just started using Windows 7 speech recognition.  I use it primarily for dictation.

My question is about entering numbers in a software program I am using.  When I say a number like 48,259 there is a comma in the middle.  My software does not want to see that comma.  I tried to enter it by saying "48 no space 259" but it puts the space in even though I say "no space."

Can you tell me a way to enter a number like 48,259 without the comma (or a space) using speech recognition?

OK, nevermind.  I just figured it out by reading the thread titled "how to force formatting" below.  Thanks.
