Although I picked up the WSR Toolkit, V2, several months ago, I just today had an opportunity at work to run it through its paces. It is both an improvement over V1 and a disappointment. First, thanks for providing a way to set microphone volume. For me, this has revolutionized accuracy in dictating with the RevoLabs xTag Wireless. No matter how much I tinkered with the volume, the mic just never quite performed at the level I need at work. Now it is doing quite well. Also, the improvements to the GUI are very nicely done.

The "disappointment" is no longer having a way in the toolkit to edit voice macros. At least, I can't spot it. There is probably something obvious I'm overlooking, but for now I am happy that I did not uninstall V1 because it provides very quick access to voice macros for editing.

Thank you for the nice comments. Yes, the Tune Microphone (volume and SNR) were critical to implement in V2 as the Windows 7 audio sub system and Set up my microphone utility never seemed to hold the corect settings. Don't forget, you must close WSR after making manual settings and do not use the Set up my mcrophone utility after Tune Microphone or you will lose settings.

We left it out as we found we had run out of space on the GUI and it was a feature used mostly by experts like you while most WSRToolkit purchasers are more casual users. This does not mean we've forgotten you. In the lower right Taskbar is a blue oval icon for Windows Speech Recognition Macros. Right click the icon and select Edit Speech Macro.

If the above does not work well for you, let us know. We will add into the list of features for version 3.

Thanks,
